Passwords are never stored
Only a salted PBKDF2-SHA256 hash, 210,000 iterations, checked in constant time.

Apps never see your password
Products get a signed OpenID Connect token (RS256, PKCE S256), not your credentials.

Short-lived by design
Access and ID tokens expire in 1 hour. Email sign-in links work once and expire in 15 minutes.

Brute-force limits
Repeated failed sign-ins, reset requests and text codes are rate limited per window.

Opt in to one-click sign-in for 90 days. "Not you?" is always one tap away.

Sign-outs that stick
Refresh tokens are revocable, and an app can ask for a fresh sign-in at any time.

Is a MAD account free?
Yes. Creating and using your MAD account costs nothing. Individual products have their own plans.
Do I need a password?
No. Use Google, X or a one-time email link. You can add a password later if you like having one.
How do I create an account?
Choose Create account and pick any sign-in method. Your MAD account is created the first time you sign in.
I already sign in to the Biz App. Is that the same thing?
Yes. If you sign in to the Biz App, MAD Sign or MAD Meet, you already have a MAD account.
